Trained in photojournalism Jim expanded into the areas of nature and storytelling using both the visual and emotional aspects of the environment.

My favorite approach to photography is the "walk-about" with a flexible plan of what I will shoot. Life is ever-changing and my photos try to capture it. Areas of specialty include landscape, gardens, waterscape, seascape, architecture, candidate photography, events, travel and photojournalism.

I normally use a Canon D5-Mark IV and a Canon R5. But I love my iPhone too.
